It is important to know, that the petrol stations on the motorways are usually open 24 hours a day. Close to the border the last exit on the motorway A2 in Austria before entering the country of Italy is named "Arnoldstein". Around this exit, there are a few petrol stations in the urban and suburban area, where you can go. You either drive to the east directing to the village Arnoldstein or you go to the west in the direction to the village Maglern.

Information for people who go westbound here: If you continue on the national road B83 westbound from the motorway exit Arnoldstein, you should probably not go back to the motorway exit where you came from. You will save time after recharging your fuel when you continue going westbound or southbound to the border of Italy. A few kilometers after crossing the border on the national street B83 you can go back up to the motorway again.
